Description: This younger middle-aged woman prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her chestnut hair is lengthy. She has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Ruler business.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

Description: This late middle aged man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time and is in decent physical shape. His hair is short and black. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Merchant arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Ruler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shepherd. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
