History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and revenge

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Howard hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He found a children's book about a Halfling Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: He wears a fancy black suit. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his pickaxe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. He keeps his long black hair kept up in a rat tail. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Merihim embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. Her crest is copper and curly. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair is cut close to his head. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Quarion was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Knight.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
