History: Born to a Mason, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Rurik hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Rurik was born with his mother's beautiful face. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
