History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Chaedi grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Chaedi. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting brigands, the young Gilkass began to lead the lost caravan. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and a deep hatred of brigands

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His head has been shaved. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a tattered pair of loose violet pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. After a long history of fighting, Raer and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 2'8". She prefers to wear flannel, and her gloved hand is found clutching a bastard sword. Her hair is long and red with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small white clips. Her amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Merla was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Merla's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and regain custody of her son
