History: Kite was born the youngest of three triplets. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Description: An older woman who wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants, she is not a threatening figure. Her silver hair is long and unkept. Her eyes are gray and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Waywocket isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: He stands about 6'2" and typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep brown leather and dull red iron scale mail. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His first spouse was a Laborer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He is physically well-built. He keeps his rusty crest in a pixie cut. His eyes are likewise red. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Azzakh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Azzakh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
