Description: She wears tattered old clothes. She has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her tied-back hair is blonde. Her brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Herbalist arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman wears a grey costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on her torso. Her chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.
History: Joan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Crown-heir, and she later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

She has hazel eyes and a pastel hat with a yellow feather.
Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nimble was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Description: An older woman who dresses like a well dressed Laborer does, she is not a threatening figure. Her bronze crest is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 12 years.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business

Description: Standing 5'3", this man wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His hair is red and curly. His eyes are amber.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Malmûg grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Malmûg took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sai and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Malmûg fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Crown-heir and was forced into it by his family; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
