Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Kaladan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: She was born in the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she has a crush on the local gardener

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears a blue shirt with thin green vertical stripes and black pants. Her red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Pyntle was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Pyntle's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Five hails from a village terrorized by drow. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
