History: Aust was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When Aust reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He's also a talented Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Her hair is long and chestnut with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small brown clips. She has gleaming, smiling green eyes.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and she has a crush on the local actor

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born in the west. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. After a long history of fighting, Phelaia and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
