Personality: Emma wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Gifted from a young age, Pyntle studied abroad. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a scribe and was forced into it by her family
