When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
