History: Paela was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Dilettante for hire.

History: Loopmottin lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.
