History: Mantus hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Servant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Servant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Servant like his mother before him.
