History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Now he works as a poetry tutor during his time off.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Fortune-teller; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Bowyer profession.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: Emerald wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is obsessed with her god.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
