He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Born in the south to a Weaver, Fragrant learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Weaver and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Zanna is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Merchant mother left her crippled. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Lance was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.
