Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. A true patriot, Joan would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shoemaker.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: 3'4" and muscular, this northern man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His red hair is heavily combed to the right. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Namfoodle was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Namfoodle's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wants to work out more often

Her golden hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and wants to raise her children well

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He prefers to wear black clothing when he does not wear armor, marred by sweets. His white hair is smooth and relatively long. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Born in the north to a Sage, Amûg learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with his Glassblower mother left him crippled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sage for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and wants to open a new tavern
