Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He has black hair. His eyes are green and beady.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Varis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Varis took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Dûgz abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Laborer mother left her crippled. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
