Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is wearing a long, white, dusty cloak. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: 5'7" and muscular, this eastern man wears a green coat over a blue low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines silver.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Therai was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Therai's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he's looking for his big break
