History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Quick was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Naill was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Fletcher. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He wears skinny pants and wears a red and white robe with the hood down. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his sword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. He keeps his long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ombul was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
