Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she wants revenge against drow

She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
