History: Mardnab was born the youngest of three triplets. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Mardnab never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ahlyssa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
