Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is renowned for his bright tan suits and hats. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length brown hair. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bather born in the past three hundred years. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Umpen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Umpen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a tattered pair of loose blue pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs and is in decent physical shape. His hair is always cut to a buzz. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He takes great joy in being the best Shepherd in town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Mason again.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears black painted combat armor at almost all times. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. His eyes are likewise gold. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Astar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... The war was a terrible time for him, and Astar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Astar was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She is greedy.
