Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his lance with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and is pretty ugly. He has no hair. His eyes are brown.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a Dilettante, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. Delg is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. After a long history of fighting, Delg and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.
