History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mordai grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mordai. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Berrian was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Berrian and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Emerald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He's also a talented Soapmaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She's also a talented Fortune-teller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Ranala was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
