History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Barbena was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: He is in excellent shape and tends to wear a blue poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He wears his golden hair up. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a blacksmith and was forced into it by his family

Description: This slender woman stands about 5'6". She is generally shirtless and showing off her tattooed chest. Her tied-back hair is chestnut. Her eyes are violet and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
