Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He tends to wear a large blue jacket. His hair is brown and curly. His ears are large.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Lamlis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Eberdeb embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: This western man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His clothes are grease stained in places. He keeps his cinnamon fur in a flapper bob. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines yellow.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Cloak was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Cloak was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Butcher. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and revenge

Description: This woman is dressed in a clean grey cloak covering her clean studded leather. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amber on her right hand. Her hair is cut close to her head. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she has money and likes to spend it
