History: Purban lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nemeia studied abroad. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. After coming to the age of reason, Dharg took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
