While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nalaed fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Hecat was born on a far western mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Miner. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
