History: Born in the north to a Dyer, Gurdis learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Through the years after Gurdis was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gurdis's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She became a Dyer soon after.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valanthe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
