Personality: River is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. River was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Seamstress work with an outfit from a few towns over. Seamstress work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Frederick embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born into a rich family. A gifted student she started as a Miller, but she got bored and became a Shoemaker. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
