History: Gormogord hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Jarsali was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
