Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Whurbin grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.
