His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. William grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did William. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
