When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Thoradin was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Thoradin was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
