History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Ella was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ella's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Roland was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
