History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
