History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Mortician arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Jarsali never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Glim is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Anne hails from a village terrorized by illithids. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
