History: She was born in the south. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Dyer, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shax fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
