History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Astaro was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Dyer mother left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
