Description: This late middle aged man has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his grey robe and is in decent physical shape. His fur is cut close to his head. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Smoking liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dustin embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting gnolls, the young Dustin began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her black eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vepar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a deep hatred of drow

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she is dressed in a clean grey cloak covering her clean studded leather. Her golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents enrolled her in a Ranger school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he tends to wear a brown poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His long lavender fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.
