Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mara fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and balancing his hectic life and new dilettante responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Banker profession.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To be a Banker again; and she wants revenge against gnolls
