History: He was born on a small isolated farm. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Barakas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for him, and Efferil does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Efferil hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Through the years after Efferil was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Efferil's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Bellfounder, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born to a Junk Dealer, his father struggled to pay the bills. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bricklayer. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bricklayer for the past few years.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and sabotage a competitor
