History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Puyet hails from a village terrorized by goblins. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Puyet took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up halberd and armor she uses now. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
