He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. Herleva enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the west to a Painter, Herleva learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Painter and found it very stressful. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Gifted from a young age, Windy studied abroad. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

His red hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Gifted from a young age, Igden studied abroad. When Igden reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
