Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and many gnolls want her driven away

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. In her youth she was a Masseuse, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
