History: Roland was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

History: Burto was born with his father's beautiful face. A freak accident while working with his Bounty Hunter father left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Xanaphia was born on a far northern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Herbalist. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
