However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born in a small island village. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
