She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Dyer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Sammal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
