History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Markosian began to lead the lost caravan. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She became a Bellfounder soon after.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and sabotage a competitor
