History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Balam took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sickle and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in the west to a Blacksmith, Nurkara learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and her religion dominates her actions

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: She stands about 6'2" and wears long strands of amber and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. Her left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. Her white hair is greasy and uncared for. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Verin is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Zepar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many orcs want him driven away
