Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She uses divination through singing.

History: Valanthe was born with her mother's beautiful face. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 3 years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult.

He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His black hair is knotted and matted. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Painter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to raise his children well

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a tight fitting blue shirt and pants. Her chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: He is lean but muscular and has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his violet robe. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. This hazel eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Soapmaker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
